Too often, a weekend trip does not entail the classic four day escape, but only one night and two days. In these two days, one must try their hardest to see, eat, drink, shop and explore as much as possible in a very small time frame. When this occurs it is vital to choose the right accommodation. You'll want a hotel that's centrally located and maybe not spend to much om the room, (we want to save that for the shopping, right?). Enter the Hotel Bellora in Gothenburg.
You might be drawn in from the outside as their Italian style restaurant looks extremely welcoming on the main restaurant street of Gothenburg and the modern decor will continue up through the hallways and into the rooms. The room was standard size with large windows overlooking the city and very comfortable beds.
Also the breakfast was lovely! We could easily fill our plates with everything from pear yoghurt to mozzarella, olives and basil. So make sure that the breakfast is included when you book because this is not one you'll want to miss.
Because of the location and reasonable prices this hotel is perfect for anyone looking to get the most out of Gothenburg, especially if your planning for some late nights. The area is filled with restaurants, cafés and bars. And don't forget to try the Hotel's own 'Ristorante Bellora'.
PRICE: Double rooms from €110

(Thank you to the Hotel Bellora for hosting our stay. My opinion is, of course, my own.)
